Jorginho says the chance to play for Mikel Arteta was a "big influence" in his decision to move from Chelsea to Arsenal.
The Italy midfielder said: "I know he tried a few times to get me before and it didn't happen due to other reasons, not because of my wishes.
"I just can't wait to be on the pitch to be honest. Everything has happened so fast. It's an important shirt. It's an amazing club, a big one, and I'm really excited and happy to be here.
"I'll try to just bring positive energy, hard work and my experience to help the team. It's what I always bring with me."

Frustrated Villa fan here, hoping there's another hush hush Ings-like deal or two being worked on as we speak... Otherwise we are very short of any sort of squad depth and a top-half finish may elude us. In Unai we trust!

Bournemouth sign Illia Zabarnyi from Dynamo Kyiv
That Football Manager wonderkid was... Dynamo Kyiv defender Illia Zabarnyi. There are reports it's for a £20m fee.
He has already won 24 caps for Ukraine and he's only 20.
Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: "Despite only being 20, he has played at the highest level for club and country and has established himself as one of the most sought-after young defenders in the world.
"We are very much looking forward to seeing him continue his development with us and know he will be a valued and important member of our squad."

Jorginho g is pretty much perfect. Clearly cover is needed for Partey and this is a guy who knows the league, is a proven winner, can jump in and perform against the lesser opposition from day one, and is on a short term deal leaving the general ethos of building a young successful team without being tied in to mega wages for years and years in tact. Personally think it's another transfer master stroke from the current regime

Happy with Arsenal's business this window. Trossard and Jorginho are solid short / medium term solutions that mean the big money's there for the summer. COYG!

Not g a player in a transfer window can leave players thinking "we are doomed", says former Fulham and Sheffield United midfielder Michael Brown.
With only a few hours left in the transfer window, he argues that making no moves can have a detrimental impact.
"There could be some dressing rooms watching everyone else making late moves and wondering whether they have enough," he told BBC Sport. "Or they will be asking, 'Why does nobody want to come to us? Why have we not bought anyone">"You want to show them what you're all about."

Most shrewd business this transfer window is by Arsenal. They haven't been dragged into bidding wars, they've signed proven talent and reinforced where needed. Now, the only gs they should do before the summer is to buy the entire scouting team from Brighton.

Diego llorente going to Roma is a great move from Leeds. He's a great lad but he's not had the best time for us. Hopefully he does well for Roma.

West Brom are hoping to complete the loan g of Chelsea youngster Omari Hutchinson before the 11pm deadline.
The 19-year-old made two substitute appearances earlier this month, both against Manchester City.
However, the influx of new players into Stamford Bridge will clearly restrict any further opportunities, especially as Chelsea are out of both domestic cup competitions.
Baggies boss Carlos Corberan felt the benefit of Chelsea players at Championship level last season when Levi Colwill excelled in Huddersfield’s run to the play-off final.

Fulham have signed midfielder Sasa Lukic from Torino for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal.
“I’m very happy to have signed, and to now be a part of Fulham’s squad," Lukic said. “I can’t wait to get started and meet with the Head Coach, the players, and the staff, and I’m looking forward to training with them when I arrive in England.
“I’ve seen Fulham play this season and they’ve been playing very well. They have a good squad, with a great history.
“A lot of great players have played for the Club in its history, and they have a lot of great players currently, like my compatriot Aleksandar Mitrovic.”
